Allan's Internet Service Provider page

In October 2004 I upgraded from BT dial up to PlusNet Broadband

The service I have is PlusNet Broad Band Home Lite.

The speed of 1mb (due to be up-rated to 2GB) is twice that usually provided by most Broadband ISP's and includes 1GB of downloads per month (more than adequate for my needs) but if I need extra capacity (there is no cap on this service) I can just pay a bit extra each that month.

I pay £14.99 per month for this service which is 40 times faster than my old BT dial up but it costs me only an extra £1 more per month.

To start with I paid for an ADSL Modem and for BT to upgrade the line (you need to have a BT line). Once the line had been activated I plugged in the modem, fitted the filters provided in my phone sockets and setup my PC. It was all quite strait forward and went without a hitch.

PusNet provide a good quality value for money service.

I receive a reduction of £0.25 per month for the first two people who join PlusNet and register as being referred by me. So if you decide to change to PlusNet broadband don't forget to put me down as your referee.
